Bus Transfers To and From Reno-Tahoe Airport

Upon arrival at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and buses.

The RTC Public Buses

Public transportation to/from the airport is available via Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) ride:

RTC Bus Route No. 12

This bus takes passengers either to Downtown 4th Street Station or Meadowood Mall and stops at Terminal Way & Villanova Street, a short walk from the north baggage claim via the marked pedestrian walkway.

RTC Bus Route No. 19

Bus 19 takes passengers to Downtown 4th Street Station and stops outside the baggage claim. This route operates only on weekdays.

A one-way fare starts at $2.00. Discounts apply to qualified passengers.

The RTC is the public body responsible for the transportation needs throughout Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County, Nevada.

From its inception as Citifare in the late 1970s, the system has since been rebranded. Today, it has grown to include a service area of approximately 160 square kilometers and an annual ridership of 8.5 million.
